Putian City Shoes Machinery Exhibition Will Be Held
In August 22nd, the municipal government held the third Putian international footwear technology equipment shoe materials exhibition coordination meeting.
會議強調，各縣區各部門要高度重視鞋機鞋材展，指定專門單位負責落實招展工作；要進一步加大宣傳力度，努力營造氛圍；各級各部門要從大局出發，密切配合，精心組織，確保展會成功舉辦。
據悉，我市現有制鞋企業３０００多家，生產各類運動鞋、皮鞋、休閑鞋、膠鞋等，２００７年產值達１８０億元，今年上半年實現產值１０７億元，是我市十大產業集群之一，莆田已快速發展成為福建乃至全國又一大型制鞋基地。
The third Putian international shoe technology equipment shoe materials exhibition will be held in from November 16 to 19, 2008 in the arts and Crafts City. It will be organised by the Putian Municipal People's government and the provincial council for the promotion of trade and will set up 500 booths.
