2008 International Fur Industry Symposium Held In Beijing
The 2008 international fur industry seminar, sponsored by China Leather Association fur Specialized Committee, was held in CTS Plaza Hotel recently.
The conference aims at strengthening information communication and exchange of experience between domestic and foreign fur business colleagues.
Zhang Shuhua, executive chairman of China Fur Association Specialized Committee and chairman of the International Fur Association, Mr. Lenhart, delivered a keynote speech.
The delegates discussed the feasibility of establishing fur auction houses in China, the development of international fur market in 2008, how to deal with the possible anti fur demonstrations carried out by animal protection organizations during the 2008 Olympic Games, and the European Union's issue of cat and dog skin bills.
