More than 1200 representatives from China, the United States, Britain, France, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Singapore, China and other countries gathered in Jiangnan Water Village to share the latest research findings and explore the trend of textile technology development.

The conference was co sponsored by the China Textile Engineering Society and the people's Government of the city of Shandong. At the meeting, Sun Ruizhe delivered a keynote speech entitled "opportunities and challenges for international cooperation in textile technology" under the background of "one belt and one road". The continuous improvement and interconnection of the soft and hard environment have greatly promoted the orderly flow and efficient allocation of production factors, and provided strong impetus and wide space for the production cooperation between China and the countries along the border. The consumer market of textile and clothing along the belt and road has been growing rapidly, and the growth space is larger. The expanding free trade agreement network, the more free and convenient trade channel, accelerates the integration of regional markets, the deepening of scientific and technological cooperation between China and the countries along the line, and the continuous enrichment of cooperation areas, creating a good cooperation atmosphere for China's textile and technology international cooperation, and providing more channels and platforms for cooperation. He pointed out that under the background of "one belt and one road", China's textile and garment industry is facing many opportunities, and the concrete manifestation is: "one belt and one road" construction.

Sun Ruizhe said that China's textile and garment industry is deeply involved in the construction of "one belt and one road". It has made many important progress in trade and investment, and has carried out a series of pragmatic cooperation in the fields of social responsibility and so on. In terms of science and technology, China's textile technology plays an important role in enhancing the level of international production cooperation, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, and strengthening personnel training. He stressed that in order to achieve the high quality development of the textile and garment industry in the "one belt and one way", China's textile science and technology should take new actions. First of all, we should establish a think tank, and hope that Chinese universities can carry out academic exchanges and cooperation with their counterparts in the countries along the belt. Secondly, we must build a scientific and technological park. Thirdly, we should promote the technological and cultural exchanges between the textile and garment industries. At the theme meeting of the day, the organizing committee invited academicians and experts from home and abroad to conduct academic exchanges.

Yu Jianyong, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a keynote speech on the development and application of nanofiber aerogels. He proposed a new method for the construction of nanofibers. Through this technology, a super light super elastic nanofiber aerogel with stable cell structure was obtained. This material is expected to further enhance the application performance of nanofibers in the fields of sound absorption, heat preservation, oil and water separation, air filtration, high temperature insulation, and so on, which provides a new idea for the structural design and functional application of nanofiber type materials.

Professor Seeram, academician of the Singapore Academy of engineering, the Royal Academy of engineering and the National Engineering Institute of China, entitled "smart wearable products: nano technology and nanofibers", introduces the development and potential opportunities and challenges of smart wearable products, light textiles, self cleaning textiles, electronic textiles, robot surface materials, recycled textiles and other high performance textiles, which are based on Ramakrishna.

Wang Yuzhong, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and Professor Yu, discussed the preparation of versatile multi-functional coated fabrics around the theme of "multi-functional fabric". The coating can be used to modify many kinds of fiber substrates. The surface of the prepared materials has excellent functions such as super water thinning / super thinning oil, antibacterial, flame retardant and self cleaning.

Ni Qingqing, Professor of Japan and academician of the Japanese Academy of engineering, introduced the latest development results of multi-dimensional textile composites, focusing on the high performance fibers used to develop textile structures and their role in enhancing the mechanical properties and expanding application fields of the interface fracture toughness of textile structures.

In addition, Professor Gajanan S.Bhat, Professor Seong Hun Kim, Professor Ludovic, koehl, Professor Fan Jintu, and Professor Chris, Chris, Carr, respectively, focus on the research of "new generation of textile materials, nanofiber technology and multi-functional research", "Research on fully degradable polymer materials", "challenges and opportunities facing the textile industry in the new era": the theme of "the design method of textile industry", "the research and development of intelligent textiles for personalized thermal and humidity management", and the theme of "designing the fashion for recycling: the stability of coloring agents and finishing agents" and so on, and share their latest research results.

At the September 27th Annual Meeting, Professor Cui Yi, Professor of the United States, introduced the "fiber and textile materials for energy, environment and Electronics".
