The provincial special supervision and spot check of Western-style coat products in the 4 cities of Hefei, Wuhu, Tongling and Chizhou drew 39 groups of Western-style clothes and overcoat products. After inspection, 19 groups of products were qualified, 19 groups of products were not qualified, 1 groups of products were not qualified, and the physical examination pass rate was 51.3%.

The peel strength of the adhesive lining is not enough, which will cause the degumming, wrinkling and deformation of the front part of the suit coat, which will seriously affect the appearance and fastness of the garment.

The fiber content of the fabric does not conform to its logo. It mainly means that the fiber with low value is impersonated as a high value fiber, which constitutes fraud for consumers.

The products with poor color fastness are exposed to rainwater and sweat during the wearing process, which will cause the pigments to fall off and fade. The dye molecules and heavy metal ions are likely to be harmful to the body through the absorption of the skin. On the other hand, they will cause other clothes to be stained, or stain other clothes when washing with other clothes.

Product label tagging is not standard. It means that products are not marked according to the requirements of the national standard GB5296.4, the items are incomplete, the fiber content is not accurately labeled, the execution standards are not accurate, the washing methods are not standardized, and there are no factory names, factory sites and factory inspection certificates. Consumers often fail to obtain accurate information or even mislead consumers when purchasing such products.

The main indicators of spot checks include: product label quality, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable aromatic amine, water fastness and so on 11 items.

The results of spot checks showed that the formaldehyde content and decomposable aromatic amine of all products were the 2 most closely related parameters of human health. All the problems were more prominent: pH exceeded the standard, fiber content did not conform to the label, dry friction color fastness was not qualified, label label was not standardized, and wash size change rate exceeded standard.

The high pH value of clothing will change the weak acidic environment of human skin, and make the skin lose the function of inhibiting bacteria, thereby having adverse effects on human health.

Fiber content does not conform to the annotation commonly used is the use of low price chemical fiber impersonated cotton or other natural fibers, thereby reducing the performance of clothing.

Dry color fastness is not qualified, chemical dye will wear out in the process of wearing, and its components are absorbed by the skin, which is not conducive to human health.

The product label label is not standardized. There are no product quality grade, product safety category and no product specification. The ingredients and content of raw materials and washing methods do not adopt durable labels, which brings inconvenience to consumers' purchase and use.

The rate of dimensional change of water washing exceeds the standard, which means that the dimensional change rate of the product after washing exceeds the standard requirement, which indicates that the product lacks the corresponding pre process treatment, causing the product size to change greatly before and after washing.
