Chuan Jiang Home Textile Enterprises To Tongnan To Recruit Thousands Of People
Chujiang Town, Tongzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was newly established in February last year. It is a combination of some villages in the two towns of the former Sichuan port and Zingiber Zingiber. The town has the largest home textile specialty market and home textile production base in the country. In the second half of last year, the financial turmoil swept over, and the Chuan Jiang Town, a home textile industry, was tested.
In the 1~2 month of this year, the sales income of Chuan Jiang home textile industry was 550 million yuan. On the whole, the whole town has maintained the momentum of normal production and no reduction in the number of employees. Chen Jianjun, Secretary of the town Party committee, said: "in the time of crisis, the government should build a service platform so that people can have peace of mind and let the enterprise run smoothly."
Labor difficulties have been plaguing local enterprises. In November last year, the government of Chuan Chuan town conducted a sample survey of 40 large scale enterprises in the town, and found that the gap of skilled workers was more than 1500.
"At present, some textile and garment enterprises in Guangdong and Zhejiang are shutting down, and many skilled workers return home early, which is a good time for us to recruit talents." The leader of Chuan Jiang town took action when he made up his mind. More than 10 days later, the town Party Secretary led the team, Bao Mo, Mei Hua and other 7 home textile enterprises sent to Chongqing Tongnan County recruitment.
It is understood that in Tongnan County, 700 thousand of the labor force has worked outside the country, and 200 thousand people have returned home. A large part of them are textile sewing technicians. In January 9th this year, Tongnan county held a general assembly to pfer the labor force to Chuan Jiang town. By the end of February, more than 1000 people had gone to work in Chuan Jiang town.
