In 2005, the EU launched anti-dumping investigations on Chinese leather shoes; in October 2006, it decided to implement anti-dumping measures for two years; in October 2008, the European Union launched the final review; and then December 22, 2009 decided to extend the anti-dumping measures for another 15 months. During the whole investigation, the anti-dumping Union has been making efforts in this regard.

It is understood that, since its establishment in 2006, anti-dumping has made legal plea to the industry of the Federation, submitted the opinions of shoe companies to the Ministry of Commerce, held audience meetings in the European Union countries, lobbied the local countries, and expressed the views of Chinese shoe enterprises on the preliminary and final decisions.
