    Brazil Argentina Takes Preventive Measures To Prevent Chinese Products From Occupying Its Market.

       Brazil St Paul state Daily reported that Bahar, Vice Minister of development, industry and Foreign Trade Development Department of Brazil, pointed out that Brazil and Argentina were worried that their market share of their products in neighboring countries would be lost to Chinese products, so they decided to take preventive measures.


    The two countries will first analyze the reasons why Chinese products can be driven directly into the South American market, and if necessary, suggest that the government adopt measures to simplify foreign trade procedures and facilitate loan applications. Bahar pointed out that Brazil may lose to Chinese products in the Argentina market due to factors such as product competitiveness, circulation problems or changes in people's consumption habits.


    Brazil's Foreign Trade Secretariat data show that the market share of Brazil's paper and textile clothing products in Argentina dropped from 34% and 29% to 30% and 9% respectively, while the market share of Chinese products increased from 4% and 56% to 10% and 78% respectively.


    Argentina products also encounter the same problems in Brazil. For example, the market share of furniture products in Brazil dropped from 7% to 1%, while the market share of Chinese furniture increased from 25% to 40%.


    Bahar pointed out that Brazil and Argentina will also strive to expand sales to China, organize trade missions to China to participate in exhibitions, and promote products such as food and footwear.
