Inner Mongolia Campaign Week Opens In May 24Th

The 5 day "Inner Mongolia Activity Week" opens today, and the bright flowers of Inner Mongolia's prairie civilization will bloom in the Expo Park.

According to the introduction, relying on the unique regional characteristics and grassland cultural resources, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is determined to take the "grassland civilization in urban development" as the theme of the exhibition.

This week's activities mainly include the opening ceremony of the week, the musical heart love, the national intangible cultural heritage "Horqin wedding", the folk song and dance "horse passion", the street parade "happiness", the "Chinese elements" exhibition, the prairie culture promotion conference, the grass root food culture promotion conference, the Inner Mongolia Tourism Promotion Conference and so on.

The opening ceremony of the activity week was held at Baosteel stage of Expo Park this morning.

After the opening ceremony, the street parade "towards happiness" was held in Pudong park.

This is an all inclusive tour of Inner Mongolia culture.

The repertoire, through artistic techniques, highlights elements such as Mongolia horse and Mongolia bag, so as to embody the achievements of Mongolian culture in history.

The 8 squares of the tour are composed of prairie girls, archers, musicians, puppet horses, herdsmen and horse riding poles, drummers, Mongolia bags and color changing dances.

During the week of activities, the "horseback passion" of folk songs and dances will be staged at the Expo Park Celebration Square.

The repertoire takes "horse" as its theme, mainly with dance, supplemented by the national artistic performances of the horse head Qin, the long tune, and the horseback in the world's "non heritage" project.

In a wave of hands, a whip and a jump, the Mongol's simplicity, enthusiasm, bravery, ruggedness and agoreness are full of the core idea of prairie culture advocating nature, practicing openness and faithfully keeping faith.

In addition, the "Horqin wedding", which has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage, will show the Mongolian Customs of marriage and the song and dance.

During the activities, folk craftsmen will also perform traditional Chinese folk arts and crafts, such as the production techniques of Mongolian string instruments, weaving skills of Mongolia chess, weaving techniques of bone carving, carving techniques of arrows, birch bark making techniques, Mongolia boots making techniques, sand painting, harness making techniques, Mongolia embroidery, Hakkas making skills and Dahl lotus production techniques, so that audiences at home and abroad can get in touch with Inner Mongolia's intangible cultural heritage and enjoy the unique charm of grassland civilization.
