    Gate new gateway: integrating resources and practicing low carbon life



    Compared with traditional shopping malls, Beijing's emerging shopping centers are better at integrating effective resources such as brands and environmental organizations, advocating environmental protection concepts and practicing low-carbon life.

    In April 24th, Gate new central customs shopping center held the "green living big action" activity. On the same day, Gate new China Customs joined the friends of the environmental protection organization, and shared the green theme of "low carbon life".

    Through environmental products display, bazaar, low-carbon knowledge quiz and other rich forms of interaction with consumers.

    The proceeds from the bazaar will be donated to friends of nature as financial support for future environmental activities.



    Starting from April 1st this year, Gate new central shopping center opened the theme of "green living shopping season". By taking public pportation such as bus and subway to Gate shopping in new gateway, we can get a green living bus card jointly released by Gate new central shopping center and friends of nature.

    Crocodile brand launched a limited amount of T-shirts to protect the environment; sketching as fashion menswear brand always used natural dyes to reduce pollution; like adorning materials, all natural materials were used from raw materials; the A&I package guaranteed that it could not be damaged for ten years, and also catered to the low carbon concept.

    Crocodiles, L'OCCITANE, ESPRIT, swatch, A&I, and many brands like love, sketch, L&R, A&I, and zigzno offer their environmental protection products to show and bazaar.



     

    The establishment of a green channel depends on the formation of "idea".



    Zhang Jie, manager of Sunrise Department store, believes that the establishment of "green channel for environmental protection" requires three efforts of brands, consumers, and shopping malls themselves, but brand players play a leading role and consumers are passive.

    Han Yun, the director of publicity of Cui Wei building, believes that low carbon life depends on the improvement of the awareness of environmental protection in the whole society, which is fundamental.



    Li Lei, a contemporary commercial city, has a deeper understanding.

    "Green channel" can be understood as the construction of a green industrial chain in a sense. There are many factors that play a key role in this process. It does not simply depend on the brand, consumers or retailers.

    Li Lei believes that the whole industrial chain is a huge ecosystem. Because of the impact of China's energy structure, the production chain needs to make efforts in many aspects, such as the development of new energy, technological innovation and pformation, and so on. In the sales link, including retailers and consumers, one of the important factors that can influence the establishment of green channel is "idea".



    "For retailers, it is a sales concept, for consumers, is the concept of consumption.

    It is the most important thing to publicize, advocate and ultimately form a low carbon environmental concept in the whole society and make it a self-consciousness.

    Li Lei believes that retailers can become advocates of environmental lifestyle, and encourage consumers to continue to buy low carbon products through cooperation with manufacturers. Consumers will take low-carbon consumption as a way to pursue a better life, and in turn promote production and sales links to provide products with low energy consumption, low pollution and low emissions.
