China Shoe Products Forecast To Enter Indonesian Market In February

　 According to the Indonesia business daily, China made products through the ASEAN China free trade agreement zero tariff channel are expected to enter the market in February.

The above products were ordered by Indonesian importers during the month of November 2009 -12, and the Indonesian government predicted that the import momentum of Chinese products will continue to increase in the first 3 months of this year. The total imports will reach US $1 billion 500 million, accounting for 9.38% of China's total export volume of 16 billion US dollars to Indonesia. China's commodities that first entered the Indonesian market include shoes, toys, handicrafts, machinery, iron and steel casting metal products and upstream and downstream chemical products.

The president of the Indonesian Footwear Association, Addie, said that the importer has ordered 5 million pairs of shoes, including leather shoes, sports shoes, slippers and plastic shoes, will enter the Indonesian market in February; Rett Ma Jida, Indotextiles executive manager of the National Textile Research Institute, said that during the month of January 2010, China's textile industry will increase the number of garments exported to 10%-15% for Indonesia; the executive director of the Indonesian iron and Steel Association, IDA Terry, said that in the first 3 months of 2010, the number of Chinese steel products imports increased. China's industrial products will offer 20%-30% price discounts when they enter the country through a free market system, which is cheaper than Indonesian domestic products.
