The Expo Site Attracts More Than 730 Chinese And Foreign Tourists, &Nbsp, And Runs Smoothly.

Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the municipal Party committee, met with Misaki Sato Yuheichi, governor of Fukushima Prefecture in Japan on the morning of May 30th. He welcomed the delegation of Fukushima and visited Shanghai and World Expo.

Yu Zhengsheng said at the meeting that since the opening of Shanghai World Expo, the park has attracted about 7300000 Chinese and foreign visitors, and the overall operation is stable. In the Expo site, the Japanese pavilion is very popular. There are many places for us to learn from the construction and operation of the pavilion. Shanghai has a long-term friendly and cooperative relationship with Fukushima. We deeply appreciate the great efforts made by Mr. governor to promote exchanges between Shanghai and Fukushima. We hope that the two sides will further enhance their friendship and strengthen cooperation in culture, tourism, trade and youth exchanges.

Misaki Sato Ohira said that Shanghai has made remarkable progress in environmental protection and urban construction. Shanghai World Expo is admirable. In the park, we are deeply aware of the enthusiasm of visitors to World Expo.
