NetEase finance today learned exclusively that HNA is discussing the acquisition of private express company Shenzhen Xin Feihong and has completed its due diligence. However, the two sides are currently engaged in a seesaw battle on shareholding ratio and price.

Prior to this, Hainan has just acquired a daily express.

The move shows that HNA intends to expand its logistics business in a rapid manner.

Deng Feilang, chairman of Xin Feihong, told NetEase finance today that the two sides are negotiating on the shareholding ratio. Hainan Airlines insists on acquiring 60% stake to final control, while the original shareholder is willing to let go 40% to HNA.

A person familiar with the matter said that the acquisition of Xin Feihong might not be as quick as the acquisition of a daily express.

According to the source, there are two logistics business segments and two groups of people who are negotiating with potential takeover partners respectively. They are big Xinhua logistics and the "northern headquarters" with Tianjin shipping as the core. The two sides compete with each other in the acquisition and give two totally different quotations for Xin Fei Hong, which is said to be "more than 50%".

At present, one of the most expensive quotes, Xinhua logistics, has withdrawn from the takeover.

This person believes that the North headquarters without competitors will not be as urgent as buying a daily express. "And after completing a merger, Hainan needs time to consider what to do next in this strange industry."

Deng Feilang himself also said that at present, he talked with Xin Fei Hong about Livy, chairman of HNA's northern headquarters.

He disclosed that he estimated the total value of Xin Fei Hong as 400 million yuan, and was willing to sell it to Hainan 40% shares as a benchmark.

He believed that Xin Fei hung was directly controlled by the vehicle lines and pfer centers of the major developed provinces in the country, but only three kilometers from the end of the day, so the valuation of assets was higher than that of daily express.

Once purchasing Xin Fei Hong, HNA is faced with how to integrate and how to achieve 1+1 greater than 2.

According to the above sources, HNA initially considered STO, the first ranking takeover, but Shentong had a high price and a strong attitude, so it chose to buy several small express companies to integrate.

In fact, whether Huitong can reach a final agreement with Hainan Airlines will affect the success or failure of Xin Feihong's negotiations.
