    Analysis Of National Garment Retailing

    According to the statistics of the China National Business Information Center, in March 2010, the major retail enterprises in China achieved retail sales of 39 billion 240 million yuan, an increase of 18.49% over the same period last year.

    In March, the retail sales of clothing commodities of major national retail enterprises were 9 billion 890 million yuan, an increase of 20.52% over the previous year, 2.03 percentage points higher than the overall level, and 25.2% of the total retail sales.




    In terms of retail sales, in March, a total of 34 million 880 thousand kinds of clothing were sold by key large retail enterprises nationwide, an increase of 16.8% over the same period last year.

    Among them, the growth rate of male suit retail sales was the highest, reaching 17.18%, which was higher than the overall level.

    In March, the retail sales of needle and textile commodities in major national retail enterprises amounted to 1 billion 210 million yuan, an increase of 12.72% over the same period last year.

    In March 2010, the total market share of the top ten brands in the men's suit market was 34.63%.

    YOUNGOR took the lead in the market share of 11.58%, and its leading position was obvious. The market share of fir was 4.76%, ranking second; third was ROM, and the fourth to seventh were playboys, VICUTU, Goldlion, and the birds of fortune. The market share was between 2%~3%; eighth to tenth brands had a market share of less than 2%, followed by PIERRE CARDIN, Satchi and nine herdmen.

The market share is between 2.11%~2.66% and the competition is fierce.

    Among them, Goldlion's market share is 5.45%, ranking first place; the second is LACOSTE, the market share is 3.16%; the third and fourth are JACK&JONES and Playboy respectively; the market share is over 2%; the fifth to tenth market share is 1.3%~2%, followed by Satchi, Beverly Paul, Montagut, nine herdwang, Armani and Golden Fox.
