&Nbsp, China's "Expo Generation" Volunteers, Left An Everlasting Color For The Expo.
They are the "Expo generation". The 184 day of World Expo, Shanghai, is destined to become one of the most important chapters of this generation of Chinese youth, leaving an indelible mark.
Since the opening of Expo Park in the past month, there have been two groups of 12 thousand Park volunteers who left sweat and smiles here. More young people have frequent conversations with the rest of the world by participating in thousands of World Expo projects. Among the about 8000000 tourists, there are quite a number of young teenagers who have never had any great dreams and dreams here.
On the eve of leaving the park, Zhang Wei, a volunteer in World Expo Park in Shanghai, and his classmates first walked into the various pavilions that they accompanied day and night, and really became an ordinary visitor to World Expo.
From the start of trial operation, volunteers in green and white trousers have always been the focus of attention. This group of "cabbage" students who are quite proportions of "post-90s" students were initially misunderstood and criticized for not being familiar with the situation of the park and unable to answer the tourists' questions skillfully. But under pressure and tears, the group of young people who are still precious in their parents' eyes soon gave their answers with confidence and smile.
For the sake of World Expo, Chinese cabbage needs to start off from school early and go to the bus in a big hurry; in the park, they receive double baptism of scorching sun and rain, and they stand for hours. Their answers are often trivial and boring, but these children have repeatedly learnt to repeat "the Chinese Pavilion should go there" by learning to speak in a husky voice. When they return to the campus at night, the hot water in the bathroom has stopped supply, and simply wash up and go to bed quickly, so that we can meet tomorrow with a full mental state.
The "Expo generation" represented by "cabbage" shows more confidence and strength. A volunteer wrote in his diary: "Chinese cabbage is cheap and valuable, but we do not ask for remuneration in Chinese cabbage, but it is equally nutritious, quality and valuable. We work so hard, so hard, because now we see this green, there will be a sense of inspiration, we are shouldered by the responsibility, this is the power of volunteers.
World Expo has also made many Chinese teenagers and children feel the world for the first time. After becoming the 100th lucky tourist in the US Pavilion, Gu Jiawen, a 9 year old tourist from Wuxi, Jiangsu, has never had a pleasant surprise. The pupil who had seen the American scenery on television only received some American style gifts such as teddy bears and cowboy hats for the first time.
In a sense, young people are the real protagonists in World Expo, Shanghai. The pavilion invariably chooses their children as the theme or designer of the movie. When the German President Keller took the whole trip, he answered only two questions from "student journalists". The Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra specially invited 113 female middle school students as guests. World Expo has opened up a door that has never been known to the young people in China.
Jiang Yue Yin, {page_break}8 years old, wears a dark blue uniform in Shanghai haha children's TV station, stands in the studio, and completes different lens switching according to needs. 6 of her classmates completed their work respectively in hosting, lighting and video shooting.
This is Jiang Yue Yin learning how to be a qualified TV guide in the Yule Bay, Puxi Park, World Expo, Shanghai. Here, the parents are not allowed to enter. The more than 150 children are divided into 25 groups, and each of them experiences 25 different occupations in one hour.
Their props - SLR cameras, ovens, stethoscope, racing cars and tires are as real as possible. The small Yule Bay is functioning like a miniature society: firemen should wear their uniform within the prescribed time and go to the designated place to put out the fire. When the reporters of the newspaper get the news, they will rush to the "live" report; the bank "staff" should provide the police with clues to help them solve the case.
Jin Yibo, a staff member of Yule Bay, said: "our goal is not to train children into photographers, doctors or hostess through these 1 hours, but to let them experience their favorite occupation, deal with strangers independently and cultivate team spirit and social responsibility."
Compared with the past generations, the Expo generation has more diversity and initiative in making choices. After the end of the experience, Jiang Yue Yin, who always wanted to be a TV anchor, found she did not like this job. "Always feel like being a good hostess. Actually, this job is not so good. Everyone looks at you and is not at all free. Next time I'll try to be a pastry cook and roast delicious snacks for everyone to eat.
