Ministry Of Commerce: Anti Dumping Of Korean Polyester Film Will Expire.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, China's anti-dumping measures against South Korea's polyester film produced by South Korea will expire in December 28, 2010. According to the relevant regulations of China, the time limit for the collection of anti-dumping duties and the time limit for performance of price commitments shall not exceed 5 years; however, after the reexamination, it is concluded that the termination of anti-dumping duties may cause dumping and damage to continue or happen again, and the time limit for the collection of anti-dumping duties can be appropriately extended.

From June 4th onwards, the natural person, legal person or related organization of the domestic industry or representative of the domestic industry may submit a final review application to the Ministry of Commerce in written form 60 days prior to the expiration date of the relevant anti-dumping measures. The application should contain sufficient evidence that the termination of the anti-dumping duty may lead to the continuation or reoccurrence of dumping and damage.

If the domestic industry or the natural person, legal person or related organization representing the domestic industry fails to submit an application according to the provisions of this announcement, the Ministry of Commerce has not decided to carry out the final review before the termination of the anti-dumping measures, and the relevant anti-dumping measures will be terminated from the date of expiry.
