The First Batch Of National Model Workers' World Expo Visiting Shanghai

World Expo, Shanghai, will usher in thousands of national labor models and national labor medal winners from all walks of life throughout the country.

In June 6th, the first batch of national labor model Shanghai World Expo delegation arrived in Shanghai, and was kindly received by Wang Ruisheng, Secretary General of the National Federation of trade unions, Yin Yi Cui, deputy secretary of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, and Moses Chan, chairman of the Municipal Federation of trade unions.

He said that the national model workers gathered on the beautiful Huangpu River, will visit the Expo Expo to display the achievements of human civilization, experience the 5000 years of splendid civilization and colorful scientific and technological achievements of the Chinese nation, and witness the rapid development and brilliant achievements of the motherland's economy and society.

Yin Yicui, on behalf of the Shanghai municipal Party committee and the municipal government, extended warm welcome to all of you in Shanghai.

She said that the representative of the all China Federation of trade unions, the national model worker and the National Medal of labour medal, visited World Expo, which fully embodied the cordial concern of the Party Central Committee, the State Council and the general assembly.

Shanghai will conscientiously do a good job in various service guarantees to ensure that the event is a complete success.

It is reported that the first batch of national labor model Shanghai World Expo visiting group is composed of 200 model worker representatives from Shanghai, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Hainan, Tibet, Heilongjiang and other provinces and municipalities.

During the period of Shanghai, model workers will visit the Expo site, and visit Shanghai's landmark facilities and buildings such as maglev train, Donghai Bridge, Yangshan deep water port, and recuperate at Shanghai national labor model retreat base.
