The official ceremony of the Republic of Kazakhstan National Pavilion Day was held in the Expo Center on June 5th morning. Akylbek Kurishbayev, Minister of agriculture of the Kazakhstan, and Qiu Hong, Minister of Commerce of China, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

In his speech, Akylbek Kurishbayev said that Kazakhstan's active participation in the 2010 World Expo of Shanghai is primarily aimed at increasing the understanding and knowledge of the world's people to Astana, Kazakhstan, displaying its economic and investment power, and introducing Kazakhstan's culture, history and traditions to the world.

In his speech, Qiu Hong said that the theme of "World Expo Astana Eurasia" is the charm of Astana, Kazakhstan.

The beautiful Kazakhstan Pavilion will leave an indelible impression on every visitor.

As a member of the International Exhibition Bureau, Kazakhstan has a wealth of experience in participating in the exhibition. It has participated in Japan's Aichi World Expo in 2005 and Saragossa, World Expo, Spain in 2008.

In the exhibition hall of 1000 square meters, there are eight exhibition areas: "knowledge territory", "four dimensional cinema", "city matrix 2030", "interactive entertainment", "Astana area", "soft forum", "Art Gallery" and "back to Kazakhstan", which vividly show the past, present and future of Kazakhstan.
