Belgian "Little Urine Boy" Wears Giant Panda Costume In Chengdu, China

The famous statue of "little urine boy", located in the center of Brussels, was put on the 5 day "giant panda Costume" presented by Chengdu, Southwest China.

This is the first time that less than Lian has been wearing animal theme clothing for the first time in Belgium.

On the 5 day, in Brussels city hall, the Chinese representative from Chengdu presented the giant panda costume to the "Xiao Tong Tong Friendship Association".

The fabric is made of silk and Shu brocade of Chengdu. The design highlights the giant panda representing Chengdu and integrates the elements of the sun god bird representing the Chinese cultural heritage.

These designs on clothing are all hand embroidered by Chengdu Shu embroidery artists.

Ye Lang, Secretary General of Chengdu Foreign Cultural Exchange Association, said Brussels is known as "the heart of Europe" and Chengdu is known as China's "heart of the west". It represents the combination of giant pandas in China's Chengdu and small urine children representing Belgium and Brussels. It is a symbol of friendly exchanges between the two cities and the two peoples.

According to Mr. Vanden Haiut, chairman of the "little urine boy Friendship Association", over the past 300 years, the "little urine boy" has received 839 sets of gifts from different parts of the world. The giant panda costume is the 840th set of small urine children and fourth sets of clothing from China.

Chen Xiaoming, the interim agent of the Chinese Embassy in Belgium, said that in the past 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belgium, the two sides had frequent exchanges in the cultural field.

The Belgian pavilion has become one of the most popular national pavilions this year in World Expo, Shanghai. The image of the little urine boy is also a famous star in Expo Park.

According to the introduction, in June 7th, the scene of the Chengdu case Hall of the "best practice area" in World Expo, Shanghai, will be unveiled at the launching ceremony of the "Chengdu day" ceremony for the giant panda costume.
