Tong Tianwu, Secretary General of Jiangsu Consumer Association, said: "consumer disputes in the past three places in Hong Kong, Macao and the Soviet Union must be resolved in the event of consumption disputes, which will be time-consuming and laborious.

The agreement also makes clear provisions on the pfer of evidence in consumer disputes, the principles of legal reference, and personal information and privacy protection.

In addition, the three places will exchange and share information resources, and jointly organize business training for consumer rights protection, and carry out laws, regulations and exchanges.

On the same day, the three consumer organizations also communicated with the standardized management of new consumption patterns such as prepaid consumption. Liu Yanqing, director general of the Hongkong Consumer Council, said that in Hongkong, prepaid consumption can set a "cooling off period". After the establishment of the consumer contract, consumers can cancel the contract unconditionally within a certain period without having to bear the responsibility for breach of contract, that is, consumers have the right to go back on their own, which can largely prevent consumer disputes.
