Taiwan Expo Will First Visit Bohai Rim

The mainland's huge domestic demand market is increasingly attracting Taiwan enterprises to sell high-quality products. The Taipei World Trade Center and the Tianjin Municipal People's government held a press conference today in the auditorium of the China Council for the promotion of trade. It said that more than 40000 famous Taiwan fair products with good quality commodities from Taiwan will be held in Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Centre in from July 8th to 11th. Of the 800 Taiwan funded enterprises participating in the exhibition, 63 were Taiwanese businessmen in mainland China and 737 were on the island of Taiwan.

According to Li Peisheng, Deputy Secretary General of the Tianjin Municipal People's government, this is the first time that the Taiwan Fair has landed in the Bohai area. For the first time, it was held in the mainland Municipality. It has set up the most frequent exhibition of Taiwan Commodities Fair across the Taiwan Strait in terms of the size of the exhibition, the scale of the exhibition, the number of exhibitors, the number of exhibits, the business culture exchange activities and the scope of influence. Huang Wenrong, Deputy Secretary General of the Taipei World Trade Center, said that in September last year, the Taiwan Trade Fair sponsored by the Taipei World Trade Center was booming in Nanjing. After that, 15 mainland cities were invited to the exhibition. This exhibition is located in Tianjin, that is to see the strength of Beijing Tianjin Hebei one axis with three population and 80 million population, GDP3 more than billion yuan. In the consumer market, the opening of the Beijing Tianjin inter city railway will link Tianjin and Beijing into a city with 30 million people and per capita income exceeding RMB 65000 yuan (about 9600 US dollars). Exhibitors in Taiwan are well known for their participation. Apart from the enthusiastic participation of Dongyuan, tittot ryuyuan, cherry blossoms, uniform, thin leather shoes, Sheng Tai Wei timber, flange porcelain, Diwei Xi and Tai Ming, Tianjin's toughen Taiwanese enterprises such as Giant, Yongfeng Yu paper, Xinyi ceramic tiles, champion and Yonghe food (Yonghe soya bean milk) will also take advantage of this opportunity.
