Comparison Of The Spinning Properties Of Three Kinds Of Woollen Spinning Equipment
There are three main types of common Woollen Spinning Frame: walking frame spinning frame, walking spindle spinning frame and ring spinning frame.
The spinning methods of the three spinning frames are called frame spinning, spindle spinning and ring spinning respectively.
In order to compare the performance of the three spinning frames, three indicators, namely, Italy B6 SE BIGAGLI vertical frame spinning frame, Italy B5 SEBIGAGLI spinning frame and Japanese NKR ring spinning frame, were used to test the specifications of the cashmere yarns under the same spinning conditions.
The results show that the evenness of the yarn is much better than that of the ring spinning frame, but the production efficiency is lower than that of the ring spinning frame.
The spinning performance and effect of the three kinds of spinning machines have their own advantages. When they are used, they can selectively use these three devices according to the size of the batch, the quality and variety required by the customers, so as to effectively exert their utility and reduce unnecessary maintenance.
Spinning mechanisms vary.
The frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning frame are essentially the same. The difference is that the frame is reciprocating when it is working, while the spindle is spinning when it is working.
The spinning mechanism of the walking frame and the spindle spinning frame is the same, but their spinning mechanism differs from that of the ring spinning frame.
The main difference is that the spinning machine has different ways to complete the three main processes of drafting, twisting and winding.
Drafting and twisting are carried out in the horizontal direction in the frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning frame, and the twisting and winding process is not carried out at the same time.
For ring spinning frames, drafting and twisting are basically carried out in the vertical direction, and the three processes of twisting, drafting and winding are carried out at the same time, so the production efficiency is higher.

Ring spinning is a continuous spinning process. Therefore, when the spindle speed is uniform, its production efficiency is much higher than that of the frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning machine. This is because the spindles of the frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning machine are spinning in part.
In wool worsted and cotton spinning, the spindle spinning machine has been completely replaced by ring spinning frame and some other new spinning equipment, such as rotor spinning machine and air-jet spinning machine.
However, the spindle spinning machine is still popular in some traditional woolen enterprises.
Compared with worsted yarns, woolen yarns have different quality and different aesthetic feeling.

The difference of the yarn's performance is determined by the way of spinning.
Because the drafting twisting of the frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning frame is horizontal, and there is no control area. When twisting is not winding, the twist is not twisted. The twist has a good balance on the whole yarn, so the twist irregularity is better, the evenness is better, and the strength is better. However, because the draft area is too long, the count irregularity is worse than the ring spinning.
The drawing and twisting of the ring spinning frame is vertical, and there is a false twister on the draft channel, and the control area is short, the twist balance time is short, so the twist unevenness is poor, but the count irregularity is better than the other two spinning equipments.
On the other hand, the ring spinning frame has no control area, the tension of the yarn is smaller than that of the spindle yarn, and the breaking force is less than that of the spindle and rack.
Because of the intermittent work of the walking frame and the spindle spinning machine, their productivity is much lower than that of the ring spinning machine. However, the research shows that the yarn sliver spun by the walking frame and the spindle spinning frame is more uniform than that of the ring spinning frame, so the spinning frame and the spindle spinning frame are still very popular in the woolen industry.
The ring spinning frame is large in volume and high in speed, and it has a higher output relative to the frame spinning frame and the spindle spinning frame.
The length of the drafting area of the walking frame and the spindle spinning frame is not limited to the length of the raw material used, as long as the yarn is not broken, and the draft area of the ring spinning frame is short, which is suitable for short spinning products.
In terms of yarn quality, ring spinning is more relative than walking frame and spindle spinning.
