Philippines Pavilion Day &Nbsp; Issue Of Sino Philippine Diplomatic Relations 35Th Anniversary Souvenir Cover

The 9 day of the official celebration of the Philippines National Pavilion in World Expo, Shanghai is held at the Expo Center.

Arroyo, President of Philippines, attended the celebrations and delivered speeches with the Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and the first deputy director of Shanghai World Expo organizing committee, Yu Zhengsheng.

June 9th marks the 35th anniversary anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Philippines and the friendship day between China and Philippines.

On celebrating activities, in order to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Philippines 35th anniversary, the Philippines issued "35th anniversary commemorative seals (China Version)" and "Philippines myths".

The performing artists in Philippines also presented a song and dance show with wonderful performances.

In his speech, Yu Zhengsheng said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines for thirty-five years, the bilateral relations have developed smoothly.

He believes that World Expo will help enhance understanding and consolidate friendship between the two peoples. With the joint efforts of both sides, the strategic cooperation between the two countries will be further deepened, making new contributions to the stability and prosperity of the region.

President Arroyo said she had witnessed the rapid rise of China during his tenure and witnessed and participated in the further deepening of Sino Philippine relations. Shanghai World Expo gave Philippines an opportunity to demonstrate its achievements in the past twenty years, while World Expo is also an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the exchanges between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields.
