"Escaping from north to Canton" is a hot topic of recent career people.

Nearly 60% of the white-collar companies working in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and so on have expressed their intention to leave these cities, according to a survey conducted on their recruitment website recently.

According to the survey, 66% of the survey participants were men, 91% of college degree or above, 21% of respondents were from foreign-funded enterprises, and 41% of them worked from 2 to 5 years.

What kind of people want to leave the first tier cities? The survey found that 59% of the white-collar workers had plans to leave, and 11% of the white-collar workers had left.

In terms of gender characteristics, the proportion of men who left the plan was higher than that of women.

The survey also shows that whether or not to leave is greatly related to the length of time in life or work in the first tier cities. The longer the white-collar workers live in the first tier cities, the stronger the desire to leave.

The survey shows that the main reasons why white-collar workers choose to leave the first tier cities include: the city is hard to integrate, housing prices are too high, consumption levels are high, work pressure is high and competition is fierce.

If we leave the first tier cities, where will white-collar workers choose to work? The survey found that 23% of respondents intend to target cities in the Midwest cities, and 21% of respondents choose the second tier cities in the eastern coastal areas, accounting for 9% of the second tier cities in the north. About 10% of the respondents said they had not yet decided which cities to choose, but as long as they were not first tier cities.

What are the most popular industries in the second tier cities that are favored by white-collar workers? Surveys show that the four categories of industries, such as computers / Internet / communications / electronics, fast moving consumer goods / consumer durables, clothing / Textiles / leather, real estate / construction, are at the forefront of attention.
