In June 11th, the Fourteenth National spinning and winding technology application symposium was held in Xinyang.

Xu Wenying, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association, President of the cotton textile industry association, and Li Shuqin, President of the Provincial Textile Industry Association, attended the opening ceremony on the morning.

Li Guangsheng, standing committee member and deputy mayor of Xinyang Municipal Committee, welcomed the welcome speech.

It is understood that the seminar is sponsored by China Cotton Textile Industry Association, and is organized by the professional technical committee of spinning equipment of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, and co organized by Henan two spinning machinery Limited by Share Ltd.

The meeting lasted for 2 days, with the theme of "optimizing winding equipment, strengthening basic management, reducing the broken ends of spinning yarn and achieving high quality and high yield". The aim is to promote advanced technology and experience in the selection, use and maintenance of spinning and winding special equipment, and promote the communication and cooperation between cotton textile production enterprises and specialized parts production enterprises, and the exchange of cotton textile production enterprises, constantly improve the level of technological equipment, enhance the market competitiveness of cotton textile enterprises, and promote the adjustment and upgrading of the cotton textile industry.

About 200 experts and technicians from Henan, Beijing, Fujian, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong and other places participated in the seminar.

Li Guangsheng, on behalf of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, welcomed the experts and guests who participated in the symposium, thanked the Chinese cotton textile industry association, the Provincial Textile Industry Association and the various sectors of the society that strongly supported the development of the textile industry in Xinyang, and briefed the participants on the basic situation of the city and the development of the textile industry.

Li Guangsheng said that in recent years, under the correct leadership of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, Xinyang has been adhering to the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, pragmatic and innovative, striving and enterprising, and continuously improving its comprehensive strength.

In 2009, the city's gross domestic product reached 97 billion 500 million yuan, an increase of 12.8%; the industrial added value of above scale reached 22 billion 520 million yuan, an increase of 20.2%, and the growth rate ranked first in the province.

The textile industry is a traditional industry and an important livelihood industry in Xinyang.
