Chongqing is clearly aware of the difficulties it faces: first, the textile and garment industry, on the whole, accounts for less than 0.5% of the total textile economic gross in the whole country, and the textile industry is mainly composed of primary products such as yarn and grey cloth. The industrial structure is in urgent need of adjustment and upgrading. Although the garment industry has comparative advantages in the west, its industrial chain is still not perfect.
