The added value increased by 12% over the same period last year, down 0.2 percentage points from last month, and the value of export delivery increased by 18%, up 0.2 percentage points from last month. The output of yarn, cloth and clothing increased by 16%, 15.6% and 37.9%, respectively, and the chemical fiber increased 7.4%.
In 1-5 months, the added value of the textile industry increased by 12.9%, an increase of 5.5 percentage points compared to the same period of last year, and the value of delivery increased by 15.5% over the same period last year, an increase of 6.4% over the same period in 2008. The main products of the textile industry increased by 17.4%, 17.2% and 22.4% respectively, and the growth of chemical fiber increased 15.8%.
Domestic cotton prices continue to rise, cotton yarn prices rose sharply.
