Zheng Xiukang: in my opinion, the person in charge of private enterprises is equal with employees, managers and ordinary employees. All of them contribute to the development of the company. They are all builders of the socialist cause, but the division of labor is different.
Reporter: as a person in charge of a company, how do you make employees richer in material and spiritual life?
Zheng Xiukang: employees are the foundation and source of power for the development of enterprises and centenary. No employees talk about enterprises, so we should treat our employees well, hard conditions and soft conditions are the same in two aspects. Hard conditions, such as building a factory garden into a garden type and dormitory, and building a guesthouse, make the production environment of the workshop bright and clean with green plants, and provide the most delicious meals to the canteen. The soft condition is to create leisure entertainment places such as workers' bookstores, computer rooms and basketball courts, and create a cultural evening school and network business school, in addition to increasing wages for employees.
Reporter: in the background of "shortage of migrant workers", including Wenzhou, is Kangnai recruiting difficult? How much is the turnover rate of employees?
Zheng Xiukang: the number of Kangnai employees is steady at more than 4000 now. The wastage rate is relatively low in the labor-intensive enterprises, and the annual turnover rate is less than 5%. In addition, most of our employees are introduced by old employees. We have an original theory of "planting trees, not picking flowers". Our management, technology, marketing and other talents are gradually promoted from the production line, because picking others' flowers does not mean that they can bring "fragrance of flowers".
Reporter: it is understood that sales revenue reached 2 billion 300 million yuan in 2009. Most people think that hundreds of millions of rich people like you will treasure the fish and bird's nest every day, but these days they have been interviewed in the dining hall, and they have seen you eat with your staff several times.
Zheng Xiukang: in the past 30 years, I have insisted on dining with staff in the company canteen. Employees often say to me: Chairman, you should set up a small canteen. I smiled and said, "a small cafeteria, I am far away from you, your opinions will not be heard." To tell the truth, I eat in the company canteen, and it is absolutely not a form nor a show, but a serious attitude towards my life.
Reporter: Foxconn N jump is shocking. What do you think we should do about the 80 and 90's new generation of migrant workers? How did you do it?
Zheng Xiukang: the equality relationship mentioned above can be a friend relationship, a comrade in arms relationship, or a relationship between parents and their children, teachers and students. Especially for the younger generation of migrant workers, our private enterprises leaders and managers and predecessors are obliged to shoulder the responsibility of caring and educating their employees. If our enterprises establish and improve the new Wenzhou people's emotional exchange station, let workshop directors, class leaders and so on do the work of "helping others" and become "psychological counselors" to guide their employees in psychological counseling and life values. In my opinion, an enterprise can run into a big family and a university, and caring and educating employees is the least social responsibility of an enterprise.
Reporter: what do you think of the relationship between the party organization and the trade union in the private enterprises? The relationship between the boss of the private enterprise and the Party committee and the trade union of the enterprise?
Zheng Xiukang: I was in Wenzhou from the general manager of the general machinery factory in 1980, and I have some feelings for the party organization and trade union. Kangnai is also one of the earliest private enterprises to establish Party organizations and trade unions throughout the country. From the point of view of practice, Party building, construction and regiment building have enhanced the cohesion and combat effectiveness of enterprises, and employees have been able to work happily and live happily. For enterprises and employees, the Party committee is the father and the trade union is the mother. People in charge of private enterprises should listen more to the opinions and suggestions of the party committees and trade unions, which is more conducive to the scientific development and healthy development of enterprises.
