The government of India announced that all cotton export restrictions should be abolished from October 1, 2010, including export volume and 3% of export tariffs.
June 19th, according to India government officials, the India government announced that it would cancel all cotton export restrictions from October 1, 2010, including export volume and 3% of export tariffs.
India's cotton output is expected to reach a record high of 5 million 440 thousand tons in the year 2010/11, which is basically the same as the data released by the US Department of agriculture in June 11th, which will greatly increase the export supply of 2010/11 in the country.
