Especially in the fields of aerospace, health care, new materials and new energy, the development of textiles for related industries has been greatly restricted due to the lack of international authoritative certification bodies.

Cao Tingrui: By the end of 2009, there were 1457 current standards in the textile industry, including 548 national standards and 909 industrial standards; There are 4 mandatory standards, and the rest are recommended standards; There are 311 basic standards, 525 method standards and 621 product standards.

In China's textile industry standards, the basic method standards are basically international standards, and the product standards are self-contained. At present, a standard system has been formed that matches the foundation, method standards and product standards, and combines national standards with industrial standards. The standards are interlinked and complementary to each other. At the same time, there are also some problems that need to be further improved, such as cross repetition between standards, non convergence between upstream and downstream standards, etc.

There are 22 national mandatory standards related to the industrial textile industry, including safety belts, combustion characteristics of automotive interior materials, PVC waterproof rolls, etc. The recommended national standards and industrial standards of the industrial textile industry mainly involve nonwovens, medical textiles, geosynthetics, filtration textiles, canvas, automotive interior materials, membrane structural materials and other products and supporting test method standards.

In general, the current standard system is divided by raw materials and processes. The formulation and revision of standards are managed by the standardization technology centralized management unit of each industry. Each industry formulates its own industry standards according to its own production process, without fully considering the commonality of standards between industries and the correlation between the previous and subsequent processes.

With the increasing global demand for textile health, the textile market has undergone great changes. Developed countries have placed the detection of product safety and ecological environmental protection in the first place. The safety and health of textiles abroad are carried out around three aspects: the safety of raw material production and processing, the safety of textile consumption, and the safety of textile processing. It is worth thinking deeply that the speed of research on the limit, control technology and monitoring method of toxic and harmful substances in textiles in China lags behind the progress of foreign standards. Among the items listed in the European list of harmful substances in textiles, there are still many items in China that do not have unified detection methods. Nowadays, the connotation of medical textile quality is further expanding, and testing items involving product reliability, safety, integrity and environmental protection are becoming or have become mainstream quality requirements in domestic and foreign markets. People require better medical conditions and medical and health supplies. After investigation and analysis, we, together with China Industrial Textile Industry Association and Guangdong Nonwovens Association, established the first comprehensive industrial textile testing center in China to carry out testing services for nonwovens, filter textiles, medical textiles, automotive textiles, geosynthetics and other products, which will help improve the lag in standard setting accumulated by the industry for many years The detection level is backward.
