US Apparel Retailers Enter China'S Market
According to foreign media reports, Gap, one of the largest clothing retailers in the United States, said it plans to open two stores in Beijing and Shanghai later this year and provide online shopping services in China. Gap said the move is part of its long-term expansion strategy. Based on this strategy, the company will open more stores in major areas such as Hongkong in the coming year.
In terms of network business, Gap will cooperate with Shanghai Yi Shang Network Information Co., Ltd.
GAP, founded in 1969, is the largest clothing retailer in the United States alongside Zara and H&M. It has three brands (GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy), and now has more than 4200 chain stores.
Like McDonald's, it achieved the biggest expansion in the shortest time.
