Vietnam'S Shoes And Clothing Export Grew Year-On-Year
According to the statistics released by Vietnam Customs, Vietnam imported 936 million dollars of shoes, textile and garment accessories in May, up 6% month on month. Imports in the first five months totaled US $3.7 billion, up 33.5% year on year.
Among them, the import from China increased the most, reaching US $1.13 billion, up 45.5% year on year. Imports from Taiwan reached US $696 million, up 17.1%; Imports from South Korea reached 654 million US dollars, up 18.6%; Import from Hong Kong was 204 million US dollars, up 29%; Imports from Japan reached US $181 million, up 1.5%.
