French Media Is Concerned About The Development Of Chinese Clothing Enterprises In Egypt

According to the recent report of the French textile newspaper, according to the chairman of the "European Mediterranean clothing and clothing Leaders Association" (Cedith), two years ago, under the policy of the Egyptian government to develop industrial zones, nearly 1000 Chinese enterprises settled here, including automobile manufacturing and information industry.

The report said that the purpose of China's textile and garment enterprises to come to Egypt is mainly in the following three points: first, the preferential tax rate of the special zone is used, such as exempting customs duties on imported raw materials and finished product export taxes; secondly, increasing vitality for enterprises and narrowing the distance between China and Europe; finally, the average monthly wage of the Egyptian labor force is about 25 euros, while the average wage of the Egyptian labor force is about 25 euros, while that of the Chinese mainland is 50 times higher than that of the labor force in the mainland. The wage of the coastal area is 4 times higher than that of the 100 euros.

In addition, the quality of cotton in Egypt is high, and Chinese enterprises can buy locally at a low price, and Egypt's energy price is very competitive (oil and gas).

However, the head of the French Clothing Industry Association believes that Egypt's capability in infrastructure (ports and electricity) is far less than that of China.
