On July 2nd, the seventh China Chongqing international clothing festival press conference was held in Chongqing.

The total industrial output value of the garment industry in the city increased from 4 billion 300 million yuan in 1997 to 17 billion 500 million yuan in 2009, with an annual growth rate of more than 25%, and garment enterprises have now developed to 3820.

At the end of 2009, the ranking of industrial output value, design ability and professional cohesion of garment enterprises above designated size was three in the West.

In 2010, the seventh China Chongqing International Fashion Festival will be held in Chongqing in September 2010.

This clothing festival combines the international fashion events of China clothing association, China Textile Alliance, Hongkong Trade Development Council, Macao international trade and Investment Promotion Bureau, and Shanghai World Trade mall.

There are eight events, including sixteen fashion events, exhibitions, "JEANSWEST" costume design competition, Summit Forum, brand promotion conference, expansion of international and domestic market activities, brand name dress evaluation, and brand clothing conference.

Compared with previous clothing festivals, the current clothing festival not only expanded the exhibition of garment accessories, advanced garment making equipment and textile and garment industrial parks, but also doubled the exhibition area, and set up more than 1000 booths.

At the same time, we will invite experts from China's famous clothing experts and textile industry to give speeches in Chongqing to make the contents of the activities more colorful.

Procurement oriented, forming a complete set of "industrial chain" from production equipment, raw materials to finished products, further let industry units and enterprises have deeper exchanges, cooperation and docking on garment fabrics, garment making equipment and clothing process.
