Li Yizhong, the Minister of the Ministry of industry, made it clear at the national television and telephone conference on energy saving and emission reduction of the national industrial system, to ensure the realization of the "11th Five-Year" energy saving target made by the state, and that the energy consumption of the unit industrial added value of the national industrial system must be reduced by 7% in this year.

Last year, the energy consumption of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size dropped from 6.2% to 4.1% in the one or two quarter, and increased 6.5% and 18.7% in the three or four quarter compared with the same period last year.

In the first quarter of this year, industrial energy consumption and electricity consumption rebounded rapidly. The year-on-year growth rate was further expanded to 20.05% and 27.6%, which brought great pressure to achieve the goal of saving energy in 11th Five-Year.
