Jiangxi'S Knitted Apparel Exports Grew By 20%

Labor costs continue to increase, and European and American markets shrink further, and many other factors do not affect the export of knitted garments in Jiangxi.

It is understood that knitted clothing has always been one of the main export products in our province. The export enterprises are mainly concentrated in Nanchang and its surrounding areas, and the medium and low grade products produced by them have some influence and advantages over the whole country.

Since the beginning of this year, the price of cotton yarn has been rising, labor costs have been rising, and the European and American markets have shrunk, and so on. As a labor-intensive industry, knitted garments have encountered unprecedented difficulties, and some small businesses have been closed down.

People in the textile and light administration of the Jiangxi entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau revealed that the inspection and quarantine department took the initiative to contact the enterprises to investigate and assist the enterprises in analyzing the current situation and problems. At the same time, the government made use of the information superiority of the government departments and the advantages of technology and management to help enterprises solve the practical difficulties in the process of receiving orders, production management and sales.

Through joint efforts, the export of knitted garments in Jiangxi has not risen.

As of June 30, 2010, the knitted apparel enterprises supervised by the textile industry actually exported 5968 batches this year, with a value of US $260 million, an increase of 26.4% over the previous year and a 25.9% increase in the value of our products.

Especially in June, export volume and value reached a record high of 1248 months (59 million 558 thousand US dollars) respectively, representing an increase of 44.9% and 66.2% respectively over the same period last year.
