Secretary General Of Argentina Footwear Industry Association To Accompany President To Visit China

President CristinaFernandezdeKirchner will visit China in July 13th.
Argentina's industrial and agricultural personages will form a business delegation to accompany the president, including HoracioMoscetto, Secretary General of the Argentina Footwear Industry Association (CIC) and chairman of the Argentina leather goods chamber of Commerce (CIMA) RaulZylbersztein.
The delegation was headed by MarceloFernandez, chairman of the Argentina Comprehensive Economic Union (CGRRA).
Fernandez said the main purpose of the delegation is to sell additional products and products with higher value to China to make up for the shortage of food (mainly soybean products) and raw materials.
At present, Argentina imports about 3 billion 200 million US dollars of finished goods and capital assets. Its goal is to restore trade balance between China and Argentina by exporting more finished products.
HoracioMoschetto said that the purpose of the delegation's visit to China was to sign a trade agreement of over $10 billion and improve the export situation of the country.

A stumbling block for the Argentina footwear industry association will be the punitive tariffs recently imposed on China's imports of footwear.
In retaliation, Chinese agricultural importers were warned not to buy Argentina soybean oil because of the "quality problem" three months ago.
Members of the Argentina Footwear Association and Argentina leather goods association have such products, so when the delegation of Argentina returns at the end of this month, it is interesting to see what agreements can be reached between Chinese entrepreneurs and importers.
