Recently, the State Council formally approved the Qingdao West Coast export processing zone to be integrated and optimized for the Qingdao West Coast comprehensive bonded zone.

The comprehensive bonded zone has functions of free trade zone, export processing zone, bonded logistics park and port. It is also the highest form of customs special supervision area integrating international logistics, international trade, procurement and distribution.

Compared with the export processing zones, the comprehensive bonded area has increased many functions such as international re export trade, international procurement, distribution and distribution, international pfer, commodity display and port operations.
