Recently, Guo Shengkun, the party secretary of the the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region China ASEAN Expo and the director of the Standing Committee of the autonomous regional people's Congress, headed a delegation to Taiwan for a 5 day visit.
At the opening ceremony of the 2010 GUI Tai economic and trade cooperation forum, Mr. Guo Sheng Kun invited 17 Taiwan enterprises to participate in the seventh China ASEAN Expo.
Wu Boxiong, honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, said that with the completion of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area, Guangxi has become an important gateway to ASEAN. Its regional advantages are becoming more and more obvious and its attraction to Taiwan businessmen has been further enhanced.
