Zhoukou Builds Taiwan Businessmen'S Footwear Export Base

8 years ago, when Liao Zhongwei returned from Taiwan to Guangdong, Dongguan, where he had been away from home for many years, and managed a factory of 1200 employees and produced high-end shoes, he probably did not even think that one day he would become a "big inland agricultural city" - a guest of the Zhoukou government.

In July 5th, a Chinese bus was constantly shuttling between Zhoukou Xihua and Shangshui county.

In every development zone and Industrial Park, Liao Zhongwei will take photos, ask the supporting facilities of the park, and annotate the plan of the park.

"This time we are going to Zhoukou to select the factory site. If everything goes well, we can expect to build a factory building in the second half of the year."

He hoped that Zhoukou would become the next Dongguan.

The reason for Liao Zhongwei's move to Zhoukou is that, under the pressure of a sharp rise in wages and difficulties in recruiting workers, the pfer is already the trend of the times because of cost considerations. All this stems from an investment promotion and project Fair held in Dongguan in June this year.

"At the fair, we have been identified by the Taiwan footwear industry association as an objective advantage and development concept area to undertake the overall pfer of Dongguan Taiwanese footwear industry. We have signed 28 projects. We expect to have about 3000000000 Yuan of funds in Zhoukou in the second half of this year."

Zhoukou City Commerce Bureau office director Wang said.

"We hope that through the efforts of 20 to 30 years, we can build Zhoukou into a Taiwan businessmen's shoe manufacturing export base and even a famous Central shoe market both at home and abroad. It is still not enough to invite shoemaking companies. We still need to improve the whole industry chain."

Director Wang said that the footwear industry in Zhoukou will be integrated into shoe production, R & D, raw material supply, personnel training, trade, logistics and distribution.
