According to the head of PTA project of Jialong Petrochemical Company, the major construction project of the national petrochemical industry revitalization plan is Shishi Jialong petrochemical PTA project. The first phase project invested 2 billion 467 million yuan, the actual investment was 2 billion 700 million yuan RMB, and the two phase investment scale was 3 billion 850 million yuan.

The total area of the project is 753 mu, the first phase of the main construction is 600 thousand tons of PTA terephthalic acid plant, the construction of the terminal tank farm and the raw material delivery pipe gallery.

The first phase of construction was completed in May 2007, and the construction was completed in late 2009. The pilot production was successfully completed in mid April this year.

The second phase is to build an annual PTA plant of 1 million 100 thousand tons, with a total capacity of more than 1 million 700 thousand tons after completion.

"The second phase project will also be implemented before the end of the year, and it is estimated that the project will be put into operation in the next two or three years."

Liu Jinfeng, deputy director of the office of Shishi Jialong Petrochemical spinning and Weaving Co., Ltd., introduced that after commissioning, the PTA equipment of Jialong petrochemical company was running normally, and 1800 tons of products were produced daily, which will be formally put into operation before the end of this year, with annual sales of about 5 billion yuan.

It is mainly used for the production of polyester, which is applied to the textile and chemical fiber industry, food and beverage packaging, and engineering plastics industry.

The upstream PTA of Jialong Petrochemical Company is closely linked to the aromatics project of Fu Lian, and the downstream is supported by local polyester factories in Quanzhou. It links the polyester, chemical fiber, weaving, printing and dyeing, and garment enterprises in the surrounding 30 kilometers, forming a complete industrial chain from crude oil refining to garment export.
