There are many legends about the Twin Towers temple. The origin of the Peking Opera "four Jinshi" lies in Twin Towers temple.
The outline of the story is that four Jinshi members of the new section of Jiajing during the Jiajing period had been vowing to be law-abiding in the Twin Towers temple before they went to work respectively, and three of them violating the law were guilty of different crimes.
It is believed that many people lived in Twin Towers early in the early Republic of China.
