    On the morning of July 28th, sponsored by the China Council for the promotion of international trade and the people's Government of Nanjing, the 2010 Asian outdoor products exhibition (Asia Ourdoor), hosted by the Nanjing branch of the China Council for the promotion of trade, Nanjing exhibition company of Germany and Nanjing International Exhibition Center, ushered in its 5th anniversary celebration at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center.


    In recent years, the sustained and rapid growth of the outdoor industry supplies market, the continuous expansion of the exhibition scale and the increase in the number of exhibitors have attracted the attention of the industry to the outdoor professional market again.

    The 5 year growth has further stabilized its position in Asia's largest and most professional outdoor products exhibition.


    According to the Market Research Report, the sales volume of China's outdoor products industry has maintained a growth rate of over 30% in 2006~2009, and is mainly driven by clothing, footwear, backpacks and other major outdoor products.

    In 2006, the sales of outdoor products in China were only 1 billion 500 million yuan, while in 2009 it reached nearly 5 billion yuan, plus the data of outdoor professional products supermarkets and outdoor products brand stores and retail stores such as Decathlon, with a total market volume of about 8 billion yuan.


    At the Asian outdoor exhibition, the exhibition scale exceeded 30 thousand square meters, an increase of 20% over 2009, an increase of 50% over the first exhibition in 2006.

    There were 321 exhibitors at home and abroad, an increase of 11.5% over 2009.

    In 2010, the exhibition showed an active trend of enlarging the area of monomer booth and increasing the number of new brands.

    Among the 321 brands participating in this exhibition, the exhibition area of individual enterprises reached 400 square meters, the most recent.

    According to the general manager of the Nanjing International Exhibition Center, the Asian outdoor exhibition has maintained an annual growth rate of more than 15% for 5 years, no matter from the scale of the exhibition, the number of exhibitors or the number of professional visitors. The Asian outdoor exhibition has reached the scale of the European outdoor exhibition for 5 years in 3 years. It has further stabilized its position in the largest and most professional outdoor goods exhibition in Asia, and has been in line with the internationally renowned Salt Lake City outdoor exhibition and the European outdoor exhibition.


    The theme of this exhibition is "environmental protection and low carbon". Besides the comprehensive display of the latest technology, design and products of outdoor products, supporting activities are also more colorful. The outdoor industry forum will attract brands, retailers, media and industry experts to gather together to explore the focus of China's outdoor brand development, outdoor industry status and sustainable development.

    In order to strengthen the promotion of innovation and environmental protection concept in the industry, the 2010 Asian outdoor exhibition will also launch the first Asian outdoor industrial design award, aiming at deepening the concept of green and environmental protection, establishing a display platform for excellent original design, and promoting the pformation of China's outdoor brand from "made in Asia" to "created in Asia".


    In the dissemination of outdoor culture, advocating an active and healthy lifestyle, and promoting the outdoor sports concept of fashion and leisure, this outdoor exhibition has also set up outdoor clothing show, outdoor party, rock climbing competition, outdoor life experience and other activities, so that the outdoor sports products fashion and professional characteristics have been vividly interpreted in the exhibition site.
