Yan Yan, deputy director of the center, said that the main objective of this activity is to enhance the awareness of environmental protection in the industry, enhance the sense of mission and sense of responsibility of enterprises and employees in taking the initiative to shoulder social responsibilities, guide and mobilize the participation of the supply chain, create an innovative environment, set up an energy saving and emission reduction environmental protection innovation platform, promote the sustainable development of the industry, mobilize the whole industry to carry out environmental protection activities, train a team of energy conservation and emission reduction environmental protection personnel, expand social influence, and guide, promote and pmit environmental awareness and actions in the field of textile and clothing consumption.

According to the briefing, the event was organized by the China Textile Industry Association Industrial Development Department and the China Textile Industry Association Social Responsibility office. Before February 2011, the energy saving and emission reduction methods and practical technologies in the production and operation were collected in key industrial clusters and excellent enterprises. After the preliminary selection of network voting and experts' reassessment, the demonstration scheme of energy saving and emission reduction and environmental protection in the industry was selected for communication and promotion in the whole industry.

An excellent demonstration scheme and an excellent model enterprise award ceremony will be held at the annual annual conference and report conference of China's textile and garment industry held in June 2011.
