After the three party talks between the government, clothing and garment factories and trade union leaders, they accepted a new wage structure to raise the minimum monthly wage of the 3 million garment and garment workers in Bangladesh by 80%.
AbdusSalamMurshedy, President of Bangladesh garment manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), said that when workers entered factories, they had a smile on their faces.
