2010 China International Fabric Design Competition Is About To Enter The Appraisal Stage.
The 2010 China International fabric design Competition The collection of works has been concluded. The contest will be held in Keqiao, Shaoxing, China Textile City in August 27th. Leaders from all walks of life, textile technology experts, fashion trend research experts, fashion designers, international buyers and other media professionals will participate in the event. All the entries will be gathered in Shaoxing to compete for the awards.
Since the start of the competition in March this year, many enterprises, design institutions, institutions of higher learning and excellent designers have been actively involved in the competition, and thousands of materials and patterns have been collected. Compared with previous years, the number of enterprises, institutions and samples participating in this contest has increased significantly, and the level of works has also reached a new stage, with richer varieties and more varied styles. Internationally renowned experts from China, Italy, Holland, France and the United Kingdom joined the contest jury to enhance the international influence and authority of the competition.
Design talent has become a bottleneck restricting the development of enterprises. In the face of spanformation and upgrading of China's textile industry today, this problem is particularly prominent. Mining innovative talents and training design teams have become the consensus of the industry. Since the competition was held in 1999, it has been closely following the pace of the development of the industry. Around the demand of the market, it has formed a professional, market oriented, creative and fashionable high-end event. It has not only become a professional exchange and exhibition platform, but also has hatched a large number of professional talents for textile enterprises.
The competition has set up two categories of fabric design competition, pattern design and sub competition. The fabric competition has always attached importance to the industrial application ability of the products. The pattern competition has always emphasized the creativity of the works and the match with the fabrics. It can be said that the competition has fused the industry demands of the market, trend, creativity, technology and so on. These standards will be reflected in the professional, rigorous, fair and impartial evaluation of the internationally renowned expert judges, and the representatives of the industry's authoritative media will also witness this open and spanparent appraisal process.
Fabric samples are mainly collected from 2011/12 autumn and winter's latest clothing materials. It is understood that more than 3000 pieces of fabric products from more than 350 enterprises participated in the review. The quality and quantity of fabrics have been greatly improved, and competition will be more intense. From the perspective of style expression, diversity and sense of coordination and grasp of trend are more significant. From the product category, the characteristics of multi product subdivision are outstanding, such as yarn dyed wool knitwear and so on. This classification is also different from the past. It will be classified into formal, casual, female, technology and so on based on the traditional classification of cotton, wool, hemp, silk, chemical fiber, knitted fabric and so on.
In the aspect of pattern competition, considering the universality of the application of the pattern design, the pattern competition takes the theme of "love as the source" as the theme and cancels the group setting. After nearly 30 institutions of higher learning in the early years, the influence of the competition has deepened. Since the collection of works, enthusiastic participation has been made in the design field, the institutions and professionals, and there are numerous works. By the end of August 1st, all the design works were completed, and now it has entered the preparatory stage of intense assessment.
The jury will be divided into two days according to the group. The jury will award one or two, three and other awards from thousands of entries, as well as the best color application award, the best material application award, the best pattern innovation award, the best technology innovation award, the most market potential award and the Tianzhu Fiber Application Award in the fabric group, and the market application award, the fashion Creativity Award, the Cultural Heritage Award and the heavenly jacquard type Application Award in the pattern group. For outstanding design works and organizational units, the finalists and organization awards were also set up. At that time, the awards will become the most attractive spot in the audience.
The winners will be invited to attend the awards ceremony held in Keqiao, Shaoxing, Zhejiang in October. The winning works will also be shown at the gala and the large-scale exhibition such as Shaoxing Keqiao Expo in the same period.
