    Mountain Hardwear

    Introduction of Shan Hao brand

    Outdoor clothing, tents, sleeping bags series manufaCTures high-end Mountaineering, backpacking and CAMPing tents,

    Sleeping bags, outerwear and layering systEMS.

    The story of Mountain Hardwear:

    1999 in the early morning of May, Sherpa Babu Chiri took him only four days' proposal to Mountain Hardwear, a company in California, USA.

    Though Babu is short, he always smiles and believes that he can fulfill his ambition - spend the night at Mount Qomolangma.

    All he needed was Mountain Hardwear to provide him with a tent.

    Babu had visited other professional outdoor products companies before, but only Mountain Hardwear seriously considered his proposal.

    Although no Explorer ever tried and even thought of staying overnight at the peak of the earth, Babu's enthusiasm and confidence made Mountain Hardwear chief designer Martin Zemitis believe that if anyone dreams of such a feat, what we can do at least is to prepare him for shelter from the polar weather.

    After setting all the details, Martin has only three days to build the tent.

    On Friday morning, he looked for Babu with his tired body and his tent. After he took the Babu, he said goodbye to Martin and immediately set out for Nepal.

    Babu finally reached the top and stayed at the summit for 21 hours.

    In the second year, he set a record more than 16 hours and 56 points. The record was not broken until 2003.

    Over the years, mountaineers and Mountain Hardwear have been conquering the mountain peaks together and getting the big Ioan to go back to her. The a href= 'http://www.8264.com/3638.html' target=_blank>Mountain Hardwear is firm in its position on products and outdoor activities, and is bold in creating new things, not afraid of failure, and fearless of challenges that others think is impossible to overcome. The most important thing is that athletes, explorers, Babu on Mount Everest, even those who enjoy the use of equipment in home garden, join us in a line, believing and sticking to this idea.

    [early::]

    In 1993, Jack Gilbert was the chairman of another outdoor equipment brand, Sierra Designs, while Sierra Designs was at the height of the water crisis.

    Jack Gilbert worried that the new shareholders would break up a good comrade in arms, so he and eight of his colleagues tried to buy the company. But after many attempts, they failed.

    Fortunately, the good news finally came on Halloween, and investors gave them the chance to start a new company.

    So Jack grasped this perfect opportunity to realize her dream and set up Mountain Hardwear.

    But they have only 90 days to prepare for the winter outdoor show.

    Even though there are only a few folding tables and plastic chairs in the office, Mountain Hardwear has finally been recognized by Jack Gilbert and another founder Paul Kramer in the outdoor products market for more than 20 years, coupled with the efforts of other colleagues in product design and market influence.

    This is all because of the only chance.

    Although the market can accommodate second class products, it will never be the practice of Mountain Hardwear, because we know that opportunities at first were not easy.

    Mountain Hardwear now has more than 50 employees working in California, and 25 experienced and well aware customers and market demand salesmen gallop in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand, enabling us to continue to rely on the experience and enthusiasm of our household products and markets, and to introduce innovative, applicable and valuable new products every year to give back to all users.

    [1994:: 1995]

    Mountain Hardwear has developed 17 products in the first three months, including the famous Exposure Parka and Sub Zero Jacket.

    Due to their good quality and good reputation, their improved versions still appear on the production line until now.

    Although the product line wasn't much at that time, Mountain Hardwear had a net profit of $1 million 300 thousand in the first year.

    In 1995, there were many different types of products on Mountain Hardwear's spring and summer production line, including the first all-weather tent with UVX skylight, more than 12 sleeping bags, Gore-Tex Gore-Tex jacket and trousers, Absolute Zero Down Parka, Suit, a series of fleece jackets and Mountain Hardwear first generation fast drying t-shirts for the polar journey.

    Mountain Hardwear invited the famous mountaineer Ed Viesturs to test the product at the beginning of the mountaineering season.

    Ed has made a great promise that one day it will be able to successfully reach 14 peaks in the world, which are over 8000 meters high.

    Ed has successfully climbed 4 of them without supplying oxygen.

    Just like five years after supporting Babu, the reason why Mountain Hardwear supports Ed Viesturs is because of his enthusiasm, modesty and unpretentious character, which makes cooperation between them very pleasant.

    Ed came to Mountain Hardwear from Seattle in May. After a week of discussion with designers, she boarded the Mount Qomolangma with Mountain Hardwear equipment and later boarded the Cho Oyu in September.

    Two years later, Mountain Hardwear has been pformed from a small company in California to an outdoor product brand that can be based on the world's peak.

    [Mountain link::]

    In the future, Mountain Hardwear also grasped the rare opportunity to cooperate with Robert Link.

    With rich experience, Robert points out the advantages and disadvantages of Mountain Hardwear in product and design.

    At the age of seven, Robert had reached Mount Adams, up to 12276 feet in Washington.

    So far, he has successfully reached the top of the mountain up to 280 times. He has also climbed South America's Orizaba, Chimborazo, Illimani, Cotopaxi and Aconcagua, as well as the dry city Zhang Jia Feng (Kanchenjunga) of the Himalayas, Mount Qomolangma and Cho o you Feng.

    Based on the close relationship between Robert and Mountain Hardwear, Mountain Link was established in 1999.

    The aim is to provide information for Mountain Hardwear employees, distributors and customers around the world to expedition the highest mountain and the most dangerous environment in the world.

    In other words, it is the design purpose and location of the Mountain Hardwear product.

    Robert said: "the reason for the creation of Mountain Link is that you can feel the stimulation in a safe environment.

    The name of "Link" is not because it is my surname, but is linked to the common ideal of Mountain Hardwear and everyone, exploring the highest and most primitive place on the earth.

    Tour guides can be seen everywhere, but cooperation with outdoor products companies is rare.

    This once again proves that Mountain Hardwear likes to break the boundaries and take the interests of customers and the public as the ultimate goal.

    [1996:1997]

    For human mountaineering history and Mountain Hardwear, 1996 is always very special and even a shock year.

    In early 1996, Ed called the Mountain Hardwear office in California, saying he would join another expedition to climb Mount Qomolangma again.

    But unlike in the past, they will use the 70 millimeter camera to record the documentary and play it in the IMAX cinema with almost 7 floors of the screen.

    Mountain Hardwear has less than 6.5 weeks to design and produce the equipment that the expedition needs, including a soft canopy for the David Breashears camera to withstand unpredictable mountain weather.

    This is also the first time that Mountain Hardwear has designed equipment for machine protection, and this challenge has finally been completed several days before its departure in March 14th.

    Because of the bad weather in May 8th, the expedition was forced to return to camp Base (CAMP II) to wait for the arrival of better weather, and then to go to the summit.

    Although the mountaineers are well prepared, the climate on the mountain is unpredictable. As a result, a rare storm happened in Mount Everest in May 10th. The expedition was forced to temporarily lay down the shooting work to help rescue the trapped climbers.

    Although the expedition has tried to rescue, the tragedy eventually led to the death of eight of the players. But in the minds of survivors, the great power of Mount Qomolangma is still remembered.

    The expedition finally succeeded in reaching the top thirteen days later to complete all the filming.

    But employees of Mountain Hardwear were not so excited.

    The sadness and frustration brought by the tragedy determined them to make the best equipment for climbers, and no more accidents were allowed to kill them in the polar regions.

    This determination and spirit led them to design Gore WINDSTOPPER Jacket and Crazy Legs sleeping bags that still maintain the original weight and volume after adding the extension area to the knees.

    In the same year, Ethereal Parka also won the first edition of Mountain Hardwear's "editorial selection" lt LT BR> for the first time.

    [technology development:]

    In 1997, it was a relatively quiet year for Mountain Hardware, which refers to the addition of 9 new tents, new bottom clothes and a revolution to the tent.

    The new revolutionary product is called Tension Shelf.

    Like other Mountain Hardwear inventions, the emphasis of new products is still simple and easy to use.

    Just lifting the lightweight Tension Shelf on the tent pole can greatly improve the overall firmness of the tent.

    The chief tent designer, Martin Zemitis and Paul Kramer, of course knows that by increasing the volume and quantity of tent poles, using multi-point triangulation and stabilizing points can achieve the same effect, but these methods will certainly increase the weight of the tent and make it bulky.

    Finally, they invented the Tension Shelf, which enhanced the balance and stability of the tent by strengthening the tension part inside the tent.

    In fact, before the invention of Tension Shelf by Mountain Hardwear, a breakthrough in clothing material has been made - the exclusive use of Conduit Conduit waterproof film, formerly known as Storm Light].

    When it appeared, it was the same as Mountain Hardwear's screw cap trademark.

    Initially, Conduit was only used on three sleeping bags. Over the next five years, over 30 products including sleeping bags, coats, gloves and hats have been used on Conduit Conduit and lightweight versions of Conduit SL.

    {page_break}

    [1998::]

    Mountain Hardwear is not satisfied with the status quo and tries to apply the technology of design and material to gloves.

    The design department has been expanded and designed a series of gloves that can be used in different weather conditions.

    In March, David Breashears's documentary shot at Mount Qomolangma began.

    Because of the tragedy during the shooting, many mountaineers and the general public who failed to reach Mount Qomolangma were attracted.

    After watching, they were all surprised, encouraged and feared.

    The success of the Conduit sleep bag series proves that distributors and users have affirmed their value in function and market.

    By 1998, when Mountain Hardwear extended Conduit 2014 to its clothing series, plus Altitude jackets and waterproof trousers, orders had surged.

    Why is Mountain Hardwear so successful? Some people say it is due to the arrival of time, and others say it comes down to smart business strategy.

    But it can not be denied that the quality of the product has a decisive impact on the success or failure of the company.

    In fact, the above reasons are all right, but the root cause is that Mountain Hardwear has a group of dedicated personnel, including outstanding mountaineers, such as Babu Chiri SHERPA, Ed Viesturs, Robert Link, Sue Nott, Sue, Orson, ghosts, and women, and has excellent creative tent talents and costume magicians.

    [go forward::]

    From 1994 to now, Mountain Hardwear has opened more than 500 outlets in the United States.

    The products are also exported to Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, South America and Russia.

    Even if Mountain Hardwear can cooperate with world-class outdoor products distributors such as REI and Galyan 's, it does not reduce the attention to smaller distributors or specialized stores, because every employee who works there likes to recommend herself and is a genuine product.

    Andrew Brewer, the boss of Onion River Sports, Vermont, said: "they will emphasize only one thing, that is, function, function and function.

    It's not just to boost sales, but because of these reasons, they gain the trust and respect of customers.

    "

    This respect is mutual.

    To put it simply, without their enthusiasm for the industry and outdoor activities, you will never see today's Mountain Hardwear.

    [1999::]

    When all over the world are jumping for the coming of the millennium, Mountain Hardwear's innovative attitude is like this.

    The new Mountainwear is one of the most successful designs of the company, and the emergence of the whole series is also a major innovation of Mountain Hardwear.

    It provides beautiful and professional clothing for self-help tourists, mountaineering experts, tourists and hikers, and any other user who needs it. The products of Mountain Hardwear are both internal and external.

    Pack Pant is deeply attracted by editors of Backpacker Magazine. As a result, Mountain Hardwear is again awarded their "editorial election", lt BR>.

    When Mountainwear was launched, it was favored by professional mountaineers.

    Sue Nott, Jimmy Chin, Mike Libecki and Bruce Cornell were then worn to climb the mountains of Cordillera Blanca mountain in Peru, the mountains of Madagascar, the African island countries, and the ride of disabled bicycles on the western United States.

    Over the past 7 years, Mountain Hardwear has developed from a company with only 9 employees and several folding units to become a well-known multinational outdoors and clothing brand, and its sales volume has increased by 15 times.

    By working with top mountaineers and sportsmen, Mountain Hardwear and them have probably been the most desolate, primitive and most dangerous and possibly comparable place to the moon on earth.

    In the early days of opening up, everyone was full of expectations and expectations, and the goals set were far ahead of expectations.

    But without the determination of perseverance, Mountain Hardwear will not be able to work hard today, and constantly develop new products for home use.

    [2000::]

    At this point, Mountain Hardwear seems to have grasped the way to go.

    Business is on the track, product sales are ideal, customers are quite satisfied, and in this chaotic and Challenger market, we have found a position.

    But we know that success and complacency are often the greatest enemies of progress, and there are still many Mountain Hardwear ideals that have not yet been reached.

    So Mountain Hardwear expanded the Mountainwear production line to create a lighter and breathable new series of Canyon, two more sophisticated and easy to carry tents and two modified all-weather tents.

    In addition, Mountain Hardwear also creates a double deck sleeping pad from the perspective of self-service tourists.

    Another great work of Mountain Hardwear in the new millennium is Tempest SL.

    Because of the special Nylon Ripstop and Mountain Hardwear patented Conduit SL film, plus the inner layer with MICROFLEECE, the function of high water diversion and windbreak is achieved.

    The Tempest series replaces the portable and easy coat.

    Under the rigorous test of Mountain Hardwear sports experts, Tempest is considered the best choice for winter sports.

    While designers are working hard for their new dream, athletes from all over the world are trying their best to push their products and Mountain Hardwear products to the limit.

    Sue Nott successfully reached mount Shivling in the northeastern part of India, up to 21000 feet.

    Mike Libecki came back after five months in Baffin Island and Western China.

    The excellent disabled athlete Candace Cable rode her manual tricycle to complete the feat of crossing the United States.

    Although every challenge is extremely dangerous, it is pursued by all Mountain Hardwear sportsmen.

    [2001::]

    Before 2001, sleeping bag products can only be selected in comfort or easy collection.

    Mountain Hardwear, as always, will not only work on equations, and think there are always ways to solve these two characteristics.

    As a result, the Quantum Expander was invented, with the zipper design on the right side of the sleeping bag to add 8 inches of space to the top and bottom. At the same time, the weight remained almost unchanged.

    When the zipper is opened, the sleeping bag space and air flow rate increase, making it comfortable in the same class products.

    When the zipper is pulled up, it becomes a warm and comfortable nest.

    The home can choose 600-fill power down or Polarguard 3D chemical fiber two kinds of warm materials, each patent used Conduit SL SL waterproof fabric.

    In addition to being more loved by the users, Mountain Hardwear sleeping bag is once again an enviable Backpacker "editor's choice".

    In addition to the innovation of Quantum sleeping bags, Mountain Hardwear also made significant breakthroughs in the technology of layered garments and applied them to new products in 2001.

    The WINDSTOPPER N2S film developed jointly with Gore has replaced the traditional concept of layered clothing.

    The WINDSTOPPER N2S film can be completely windproof, plus the soft quick drying fabric inside, so that the Transition series is still suitable for different temperature changes throughout the year.

    [RMI::]

    Mountain Hardwear started a good relationship with Peter Whittaker and Rainier Mountaineering, Inc (RMI) in 2001.

    RMI is recognized as the leading professional mountaineering guidance and teaching school in the United States.

    Through RMI's unwavering confidence in the product, Mountain Hardwear eventually became the designated equipment and clothing supplier for all courses in RMI, so that it can get the recognition of the 80 professional coaches in the school and provide world-class mountaineering equipment for them and students.

    In 2001, there was also a more significant piece of good news. In May 25th Mountain Hardwear, one of the athletes, Erik Weihenmayer, successfully boarded the Mount Qomolangma and became the first blind person to climb the highest peak of the earth.

    On the way back, he said, "whether we are blind or not, we should try our best to discover all the beautiful and new things in the world.

    Whether we are climbing a cold mountain or playing in a warm home with our children, happiness is only around you if you are willing to find it.

    "

    [2002::]

    Compared with other brands, Mountain Hardwear is more capable of exhibiting an unrestricted and innovative approach to designing products that are leading the industry.

    Mountain Performance, launched in 2002, is suitable for various activities such as cross-country running, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and even outdoor activities.

    From spring to autumn, year after year, it will last forever.

    Mountain Hardwear adds new members to the production line every season.

    And in the autumn of 2002, it was probably the most shocking, 3-Layer Conduit Recon coat set up for snowy activities since the company was founded.

    On the function side, the seamless pasting design pocket on the upper arm can be placed on the walkie talkie; the elastic cloth ordering is more convenient for carrying out the activity, and the zipper is also 100% waterproof.

    The three tier Gore-Tex XCR FTX Mithral Parka is the most powerful war suit in the history of Mountain Hardwear, and is also designated for RMI.

    And another series of Epic represents light and waterproof and breathable, and its surface is treated by Microporous technology, making it feel like the soft silks.

    The production line of the Ascent series is also more portable, but it does not lose the practical Vision Jacket.

    In addition, the Alchemy windproof jacket is a new standard for the traditional hard body coat, regardless of its softness, extention, windproof and air permeability.

    {page_break}

    [now]

    Mountain Hardwear, with enthusiasm and innovation, developed the world's first sleeping bag with seamless paste technology and used waterproof Conduit SL CEO cloth.

    SpeCTre SL

    It successfully defeated other competitors, and won the "editor's choice" of Mountain Hardwear, A, aypoint 1 and Waypoint 2, becoming the pioneer of all-weather all-weather tent with Backpacker.

    CROSS Flow

    Ventilation system, on the permeability of the next city.

    Synchro jacket for the first time in the waterproof surface layer with strong and flexible hot pressing strip, so that this series of clothing represents the real breakthrough of windproof and warm coat.

    With this innovative design, Synchro has won the largest outdoor sporting goods exhibition in Europe (ispo), A D D Vieturs in June 24th, and then climbed to the summit of Anna Purna. It will be able to accomplish the feat if it reaches the peak of Anna Purna.

    "Ten years of trees, one hundred years of life.

    Mountain Hardwear has achieved remarkable results in ten years.

    Just imagine what will happen to Mountain Hardwear in ten years. This is a very interesting idea, but it will be more interesting if you can see it with your own eyes.

    As the saying goes, "never change."

    In the past ten years, Mountain Hardwear has been implementing this sentence.

    Establish a constant attitude: passion, joy, dare, innovation and gratitude, and constantly develop more high-quality equipment, a wider production line, and more advanced production technology, so that Mountain Hardwear will continue to explore and innovate every ten years in the future.

    "Changing all the time" means this to us.
