The Fourth Enlarged Meeting Of The Sixth Council Of China Leather Association Was Held In Shanghai

This conference is in the post international financial crisis, the global economic trend has been improving, the foundation of China's economic recovery has been further consolidated, and an important meeting has been launched under the new situation of "12th Five-Year plan". The enlarged meeting of the Council has basically completed four important items:

- in the afternoon of August 30th, a meeting of vice chairman and deputy chairman was convened. The central issues and main agenda of this enlarged meeting were discussed and previewed seriously, so as to make this enlarged meeting more efficient and pragmatic.

On the morning of 31 August, the opening ceremony of the six four enlarged meeting of directors was held. At the opening ceremony, Bu Zhengfa, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the China Light Industry Federation, delivered an important speech. He pointed out that 2010 is a key year to continue to cope with the international financial crisis, maintain stable and rapid economic development, and accelerate the transformation of the mode of economic development. It is an important year for achieving the goal of "11th Five-Year" in a comprehensive way, planning a new round of light industry development and laying a solid foundation for the development of "12th Five-Year". We urge the leather industry to thoroughly implement the Scientific Outlook on Development and focus on the implementation of the light industry adjustment and revitalization plan. We should accelerate the transformation of development pattern and structural adjustment as the main line, give full play to the role of industry organizations, promote the coordinated development of domestic demand and external demand, promote scientific and technological progress, independent innovation, independent brand building and energy conservation and emission reduction, standardize the development of light industrial characteristics of regional and industrial clusters, do a good job in the compilation of the "12th Five-Year plan", and promote the steady and rapid development of light industry economy and transformation and upgrading, and put forward eight major tasks facing the transformation and upgrading of light industry. Zhang Shuhua, chairman of the China Leather Association, delivered a keynote speech entitled "accelerating the transformation of development mode and scientifically planning the blueprint for the industry", pointing out that the economic operation of China's leather industry has been generally improving since the beginning of this year. The production, import and export, and investment have all been restored to growth. The level of operation and efficiency of the industry has steadily risen. But at the same time, we should also see that the structural deep-seated contradictions in the development of the industry are becoming increasingly prominent, adjusting the industrial structure, accelerating the transformation of the development mode, and scientifically planning the blueprint for the industry in 12th Five-Year, which has become the most important mission and task in the development of the industry. This paper summarizes the achievements and problems of the 11th Five-Year development of leather industry, and points out that the core of the 12th Five-Year plan is to accelerate the transformation of development mode and strive to achieve the "five changes". It also outlines the development points of leather, shoemaking, leather shoes, leather goods, fur, leather chemicals, leather machinery and other sub sectors, and has strong guiding significance. In addition, the conference examined and approved the 2010 annual work summary of the China Leather Association, the 2011 Annual Plan of China Leather Association and the list of executive directors and directors of the Sixth Council in 2010. The second national leather industry energy conservation and emission reduction environmental protection innovation award awarding ceremony, the 2010 leather logo, the gold medal for the rich cup China footwear design competition and the best annual professional award ceremony were held, together with the two feature regional awarding ceremony of "China bag production base, Dongyang" and "China shoe production base."

In the afternoon of August 31st, the 2010 Fourth International Leather Industry Forum was successfully held. The theme of this forum is "the low carbon strategy of leather industry". Focusing on the impact of low carbon economy on manufacturing industry and the policies and Strategies of leather industry, we focus on in-depth discussions and in-depth exchanges from different angles. We are committed to developing green manufacturing industry, using limited natural resources to provide more healthy, low-carbon and fashionable products, and create more comfortable enjoyment for human life. During the forum, the Ministry of pollution prevention of the State Ministry of environmental protection has interpreted the verification work of tanning industry launched in July this year, aiming at introducing the list of "Red List" for environmental protection verification enterprises in leather making industry, and guiding and promoting the comprehensive improvement of the level of pollution prevention and control in leather industry.

In September 1st, we visited the 2010 China International Leather Exhibition, China International Footwear Exhibition and China International luggage and leather garment and apparel exhibition at the New International Expo Center in Pudong, Shanghai. The exhibition has a total area of nearly 70000 square meters, with more than 2000 booths and more than 1300 exhibitors. The exhibition brings together many famous brands at home and abroad, and most of the major leather characteristics in China are presented in the form of exhibition groups. Through various channels, professional buyers from home and abroad come to visit and negotiate, build communication and cooperation platform for delegates, and create more opportunities for business cooperation.
