The New Standard Of Textile Industry Is Related To Ecological Safety.

It is reported that the textile standards formulated and revised include: the detection method of harmful substances in textile products, the quality of new textile materials, the testing methods of ecological textiles, the limits of harmful substances in the production and processing of textile materials, the quality evaluation and testing methods of fiber products, the evaluation and testing methods of new textile products, the functional textiles and experimental methods, and the grading standard of quality grade of household textiles.

During the "11th Five-Year" period, 30 national standards will be formulated and basically reached the international advanced level.

The industry believes that the formulation and revision of standards are related to the safety and ecological aspects of textile products, which is closely related to China's textile industry being repeatedly subjected to international trade barriers.

Sun Ximing, senior economist of the Ministry of science and technology of the China Textile Industry Association, said that the National Standard Committee's "11th Five-Year plan" involves the formulation and revision of some standards in the textile industry. It basically concentrates on the ecology and safety of the enterprise products. In fact, more enterprises are reporting national standards.

The standard office of China Textile Industry Association reports some national standard projects formulated or revised every year.

Nearly 150 reports were reported in 2006, and nearly 200 were reported this year.

"This year's report has not been approved," Sun Ximing said. "This is just a declaration, because the declaration of the national standard is open, and there are many in the country every year."

It is understood that at present, our country is studying the establishment of a new mechanism for international breakthroughs, bringing the leading enterprises into the international standardization work system as soon as possible, and continuing to promote the adoption of international standards and advanced foreign standards. At the same time, it guides and organizes enterprises to become the main body participating in international standard setting, and guides enterprises with strong and positive initiatives to put forward new projects of international standards, striving to make the standard system of China's superior technological fields become an international standard, and promoting leading enterprises to participate in the work of the technical committee of the international standardization organization.
