The opening ceremony was held at the publishing center of TIT textile and garment creative garden in Guangzhou. Chen Siyi, Li Jingsheng, Minister of vocational capacity building of the Ministry of human resources and social security of Guangdong, Li Jingsheng, Minister of economic work of the general trade union of the Guangdong Province, Peng Yanhui, deputy director of the Guangdong vocational skills appraisal guidance center, Luo Min, Minister of propaganda of the Guangdong women's Federation, Liu Yueping, Ding Ning and exhibitors of the Guangdong clothing and apparel industry association attended the opening ceremony.

The industry association and the Guangdong Fashion Designers Association jointly founded in 2009, this year's creative exhibition aims to show the creativity of Guangdong fashion design to the industry and society. The theme of "creative change of Guangdong" is "show".

Unlike the previous opening ceremonies, the opening ceremony adopted an environmentally friendly, simple and low cost idea. The carton used for the packaging of clothing products was used as a carrier for creativity, and dozens of cartons were strewn with a wall. Each LOGO was carved on each carton. The props were also cartons. Eight cartons were neatly placed on the floor. On top of them, 2010 Guangdong fashion week was written. After the ceremony, the guests turned their cartons on their own, and suddenly appeared the words "2010 Guangdong fashion show". The creative exhibition was successfully launched.
The distinguished guests expressed their appreciation for this new opening ceremony. They believed that this concept not only showed the concept of creativity, but also came from the meaning of practicality in Guangdong fashion design.
It is understood that the exhibition area of about 1600 square meters, exhibitors more than 30 companies, the exhibition includes yarn, fabrics, clothing, design, photography, industry supporting services and other categories, with creativity as the main line, showing the form of fashion and novelty, fully embodies the brand image and product design research and development and innovation ability, cultural and physical display, combined with modern technology such as sound, light and electricity to enhance the exhibition effect.
