Siyang and other 6 regions were awarded the eighth batch of Jiangsu textile and garment industrial cluster experimental units.
The ten major enterprises and ten brands of Northern Jiangsu textile and garment industry are attracting attention.
On the afternoon of September 9th, the Organizing Committee of the twelfth Jiangsu International Fashion Festival held a press conference. Xie Ming, deputy director and Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of Jiangsu International Fashion Festival, announced that the twelfth Jiangsu international dress festival was officially opened on 10.
During the conference, the Jiangsu textile and clothing industry cluster pilot unit was also held.
Xiao Quan, Deputy Secretary General of the Jiangsu Provincial People's government and spokesman of the press, said that the textile and garment industry is the traditional dominant industry in Jiangsu province. The output of the major products of the textile industry ranks among the top three in the whole country.

With the rapid development of production, the economic efficiency of the textile industry in the province has also improved. In 1-5 months, the textile industry in Jiangsu achieved sales revenue of 399 billion 240 million yuan, an increase of 22.91% over the same period last year, and realized a total profit of 15 billion 700 million yuan, an increase of 62.56% over the same period last year.
Jiangsu has recently promulgated the three major plans of "double growth of new industries, speeding up the service industry and upgrading traditional industries". Among them, Jiangsu's "traditional industrial upgrading plan" put forward that in the next 3 years, Jiangsu will pform and upgrade traditional industries such as textile, clothing, metallurgy, light industry, building materials, etc., and 1 trillion and 520 billion yuan will be completed in 3 years, and the total labour productivity will be increased by more than 11% every year. 680 new brands of famous products in Jiangsu and more than 100 well-known trademarks in China will be cultivated. The added value and industrial competitiveness of products will be significantly improved.
In July, the provincial government held a meeting, and put forward that we should firmly grasp the main line of changing the mode of economic development, conscientiously implement the "three major plans", strengthen policy support, adhere to high-end guidance, and put forward the requirement of "brand branding of traditional industries". The Jiangsu textile and garment industry has been thinking about how to further expand the influence of Jiangsu brand in the domestic and foreign markets, and further accelerate the pace of innovation and practice from the positioning of the market, the positioning of products and the mode of operation.

The aim is to promote the consciousness of independent brand in the vast textile and garment industry in Northern Jiangsu, and promote the level and characteristics of the textile and garment enterprises in Northern Jiangsu, and guide the industrial upgrading and promote regional economic development.
